Beginning in 1962 in Santa Fe Springs, California, King Plastics has grown with consistent success. Today, with 50 years of experience in injection molding, custom mold design, product innovation, and high quality printing, King Plastics has earned a unique reputation in the food packaging industry as both pioneers and as innovators.

Inventive ingenuity in the field of Tamper-Evident, Tamper-Resistant package design for retail and institutional plastic food containers has made King Plastics a leader in an increasingly competitive industry. This pioneering spirit, coupled with progressive quality in the decoration of plastic food packaging, has placed King Plastics among that select group of firms in the United States dedicated to providing consistent, top-quality products and exceptional service to the food processing industry.

In 1973, King Plastics moved into our current location in Orange, California. We operate a 100,000 square-foot manufacturing plant, which includes an in-house machine shop capable of building new molds and repairing existing molds. Our machine shop is equipped with some of today’s most modern equipment, and is staffed by craftsmen skilled in the technical arts. We also have our own in-house graphic design department, featuring the experience and know-how necessary to achieve distinctive product packaging.

Our current product line consists of over 30 proprietary containers (with accompanying closures), ranging in sizes from 6 fl. oz. to 110 fl. oz. We can print up to 8 individual ink colors, depending on the item. We can also apply pre-printed adhesive labels to containers and lids, depending on the item.

King Plastics’ multi-faceted product line is produced utilizing 250 Ton to 650 Ton injection molding machines and state-of-the-art lid and sidewall printing presses; All in an hygienic environment where quality control and cleanliness are of utmost importance. Resin storage capacity in excess of 1,000,000 pounds, and in-depth experience in high density polyethylene, linear low density polyethylene, and polypropylene allow King Plastics to meet almost any food packaging need. All of our products meet or exceed FDA regulations for plastic food packaging and recyclability.
