Starting in 1962, in Santa Fe Springs, California, King Plastics has grown steadily. Today, with over 38 years of experience in injection molding, custom mold design, and high quality printing, King Plastics has earned a unique place in the food packaging industry.

Pioneering in the field of Tamper-evident, Tamper-resistant package design for retail and institutional plastic food containers has made King Plastics a leader in an ever increasingly competitive industry, This, coupled with a constantly increasing quality in decoration of plastic food packaging has placed King Plastics among that select group of firms in the United States dedicated to consistent high quality products and service to the food processing industry.

The current line of products of 37 proprietary container sizes (with accompanying closures), ranging in sise from 6 fl. oz. to 110 fl. oz., custom molded containers and/or lids, and 14 sizes of can caps provide a broad and ongoing base of business for future growth. We can print up to 8 colors on our containers and up to 6 colors on our lids.

The mult-faced product line is produced in eighteen injection molding machines ranging from 250 Ton to 650 Ton, three lid printing machines, and four sidewall printing machines. Resin storage capacity in excess of 1,000,000 pounds, and in-depth experience in high density polyethylene, linear low density polyethylene and polypropylene allow King Plastics to meet the needs of almost any food container requirement.

In 1973, King Plastics moved to our current location in Orange, California. We operate a 100,000 square-foot manufacturing plant, which includes an in-house machine shop, capable of both building new molds and repairing existing molds. The machine shop operates with some of today’s most modern equipment, including CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) machines.
